Specialising in storytelling / documentary projects, portraits, food, lifestyle & events.
Kay’s authentic & intuitive images are influenced by a background in journalism & she is skilled at creating engaging narratives with her natural style.
Capturing all aspects of life with a sense of warmth, sensitivity & creativity - the versatile image-maker has over 15 years’ experience in the field, tackling challenging environments & elevating client briefs.
Commercial food & portrait work has seen her trusted by global brands & agencies - from shooting South-Sudanese fishermen on the banks of the Nile and dawn river patrols with the Met Police for an exhibition at City Hall - to collaborating with teams of food stylists, art directors and chefs creating a ‘risotto tornado’ in a London studio kitchen and directing talent like Ben Fogle to frolic in a cornfield.
With a deeply curious nature, her personal projects focus on the human condition, mental health and our relationship with food.
She now also has her own studio in SE London (Lockett Studios), which is also available to hire.
